Capcom Want All NES Mega Man Games Available On 3DS Virtual Console
Mega Man is a series that has its roots firmly planted in the NES era of gaming. It was way back in 1987 when we first caught a glimpse of the blue blazer and since then the series has brought out a plethora of games – some good, some not so good. The NES Mega Man games are highly regarded as some of the best video games ever made so it’s no surprise people want to see them released on the 3DS Virtual Console.
In an interview with Nintendo Power Capcom Senior Vice President Christian Svensson and Community Manager Brett Elston revealed that the company is keen on bringing all six NES Mega Man games onto the 3DS Virtual Console but claimed the process is not an easy one with the plan already hitting a few snags.
It’s not known what the issues stopping this from happening are at the moment but considering we’ve already seen the original Mega Man made available for European and Japanese 3DS owners to download there shouldn’t be any reason why North America won’t be getting hold of it along with the other 5 sequels.
Hopefully the creases get ironed out soon so we can all get blasting!
