Wii Successor Coming Admits Miyamoto?

Confirmation about the Wii 2 development has apparently been announced from none other than the legend himself, Shigeru Miyamoto. In an interview with Edge magazine, he was pressed for details about the rumours, if what was travelling around the internet was true or false.

“Don’t ask!” he said. “Even when the Wii launched we were developing new hardware, work on 3DS had already started. It’s a matter of when we announce it.”

When asked about a possible announcement at the E3 expo in June, Miyamoto told Edge to be patient. He told them to be patient until they decide on what they will do.

After hearing this news, how can we be patient Miyamoto?? You are killing us here!

  1. This is a great picture for the article. I love have Miyamoto explained they were working away on a Wii 2 even as the Wii was being release.. I think he’s hinting at us all that Nintendo’s even got Wii 3 in the bag too. lol
