Nintendo DS not forgotten at E3 2011

In addition to all the first- and third-part 3DS games on show, trailers for several Nintendo DS titles have been released for E3. The next Professor Layton game (now called The Last Specter, at least in the US) plus the sequel to Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, plus Kirby Mass Attack and something called Super Fossil Fighters have all been shown off.

Professor Layton and the Last Specter:

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2

Kirby Mass Attack

Super Fossil Fighters

  1. Excited about getting The Last Specter (weird spelling?), but I’m also really wanting to get Mask of Miracle for the 3DS. I wish localisations were quicker. I would have ordered the Japanese game already if it wasn’t region locked.

“Specter” is US spelling, apparently. “Spectre” is British. Personally, I’m more looking forward to Ace Attorney vs. Professor Layton.

    • That’s another I’m looking forward to. I’m really enjoying L.A. Noire at the moment which is like a mixture of the two franchises in some ways. Solving cases using clues, and interviewing suspects and using evidence against them. I think Level 5 and Capcom bringing the best of both games together could be fantastic! Currently finishing off The Lost Future.
