Free Zelda Soundtrack CD Rumoured Out of Stock! UPDATED

Well all being good, you EU Nintendo gamers have got your copy of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D now. If you’ve gone online to register your Club Nintendo PIN for stars, you’d have been given an address input form to obtain a free soundtrack from Nintendo. The CD features 50 tracks from the series, some of which have never been heard before.

The problem now arising is that you get an error message after submitting your address.

An error occurred when your data were being validated. Please try again later.

There has been no official word yet as to what the problem is, what it means or when it’ll be corrected.

Our best advice would be for UK gamers to contact Nintendo’s Online Account Support or to email them via “support@nintendoservicecentre.co.uk” this address with your Club Nintendo user name and user email address stating the error above, and that you would like the disc sent to you as soon as possible. For EU gamers please visit Nintendo.Com and browse to your region’s specific Nintendo Pages.

The good news is that your club Nintendo PIN for this game does register so therefore Nintendo will have it on their system that you do indeed have a copy. Best of luck and please do let us now how it goes in our comments thread below.

Update 1: Nintendo Europe has released this statement:

We would like to update our Club Nintendo members who have attempted to register their The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D title with Club Nintendo over the weekend in order to take part in the bonus soundtrack CD promotion.

Unfortunately, we encountered a technical issue with our Club Nintendo website and this resulted in an error for some customers when trying to claim the promotional soundtrack CD from Friday afternoon until today, Monday, June 20th. This issue is now solved, but we would like to extend our sincere apologies to all Club Nintendo members who encountered this problem.

Our The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D CD Soundtrack promotion continues to run until June 30th, 2011. All European Club Nintendo members may register for and receive a bonus soundtrack CD until that date. We will be in contact soon with Club Nintendo members who registered their software, but were not able to enter their details for the soundtrack CD, with information on how to proceed in order to receive the CD.

Update 2: Nintendo Europe have emailed those who registered Zelda OoT 3D:

I followed your advice and tried to contact Nintendo’s Online Account Support. Only trouble is, when I ty to submit the information, it results in a 403 error.

    Sigh.

You’d think a company like Nintendo would know how to run a website properly…

Kind of ironic that the Nintendo “report a problem” page also has a problem 😀

I haven’t had any kind of email like in update 2 off Nintendo. All I got off Nintendo was to take part in some special survey..

    • Thanks for letting us know. Did you register your Zelda PIN? Would suggest you email them on the email listed in the article.

Yeah I entered the pin. I hadn’t received any kind of emails like this from Nintendo but when I logged in my Club Nintendo 2 days ago I could click the banner and register my details.

Excellent! I haven’t got the third email yet but I’ve just logged in and ordered my CD. 🙂 Though does this mean the offer is now open to all Club Nintendo members, not just those who have OoT? Makes it a bit less exclusive…
