Nintendo Video To Launch July 13th

Recently, Nintendo sent out details which confirms that the Nintendo Video service will be launching in Europe on July 13th.

The Nintendo Video service is an application for the 3DS, and will be available from the eShop, which will allow users to view 3D videos. There has been no word on what will be available upon launch, but we do know that the content will be region exclusive.  Nintendo is said to have made deals with Disney, Warner Bros., and Dreamworks to deliver 3D movies to Nintendo’s new handheld. Sky and Eurosport is also on the agenda too! Nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

As we know, Japan have been enjoying the Nintendo Video service. Nintendo partnered up with Fuji Television to deliver their free content to the handheld. Each of the channels are updated daily via SpotPass.

No word on an American launch date just yet for this service.

Are you guys looking forward to this? What would you all like to watch on your 3DS’?

Stay tuned to Nintendo Scene when more news becomes available!
