Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D Delayed

According to Kotaku, the much anticipated Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D has been pushed back to next year for its US and EU release. There was no reason provided for why the game has been delayed, nor any news on a new release date. However, Konami are still going ahead with a Japanese launch of the game late this year.
It seems as though this is not the 3DS’ month, after the cancellation of both Mega Man Legends 3 and Assassin’s Creed: Lost Legacy 3D. It was also noticed that although announced by Nintendo Unleashed, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D was not available amongst the range of playable of 3DS games present at last weekend’s Hyper Japan.
Are you disappointed by this news? Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D was one of the games that convinced me to buy the 3DS console at launch, so this is another great blow for me. Let us know what you think in the comments section down below.

It’s a vicious circle.
The 3DS isn’t selling as well as expected because of the lack of decent games.
The decent games are either delayed or cancelled because the 3DS isn’t selling.
Sigh.

Is that really so? Developers hold back on their releases in the hope that a larger customer base would appear. I really hope that’s not the case. As Nintendo’s made good space for 3rd parties to step in with their own releases. Now you suggest Nintendo are needed to build up the user base.

Actually I’m kind of glad, my wallet is going to take a beating around November seeing as how everything is coming out around that time.
Still, it’s bad news for the 3DS as it needs a few powerhouse games behind it for people to actually want to get one

I had that same inner feeling too when I saw this news. But the big games need to come soon as this platform needs a quality games list to push it’s sales.
