Pandora’s Tower and Last Story Confirmed for EU Release

After much anticipation, Operation Rainfall is finally complete (in Europe at least), as finally Pandora’s Tower and Last Story have been confirmed for an EU release on the Wii console in 2012. Xenoblade Chronicles was first game from Operation Rainfall to see release, and is launching across Europe this Friday (19.8.11).

Operation Rainfall was a campaign by fans (namely in North America) to get the aforementioned three JRPGs released outside of Japan. Although there have been rumours for quite some time that Pandora’s Tower and Last Story were heading to the EU, there was still no word on an North American release.

Although nothing is for certain, we can presume that if the games sell well in Europe, Nintendo of America will consider releasing them in American territories too.

Have you been following the release campaign? Are you excited to play Pandora’s Tower or Last Story? I sure am! Let Nintendo Scene know in the comments section down below.

  1. JRPGs are an unusual beats. I do play them but find I can only handle one at anytime. Xenoblade is on my radar. I will have decide if I have what it takes to see it through. I would hate to leave it half baked.
