MCM London Preview

The London MCM Expo May starts tomorrow (Fri 25 May 12) until Sunday (27 May 12 in the Excel Centre, London Docklands.  Thousands of anime, movie, gaming and tv fans will descend on the convention which is still the UK’s biggest.

With so much to do over the three days, you have to plan your visit in advance otherwise you might miss something.  Your first stop of planning should be the MCM Show Guide, here you will be able to see when and where stars are signing along with which panels are on.

StealthBuda’s MCM Picks

Nintendo Unleashed will have demo’s on hand for the following games:

  • Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (3DS)
  • Mario Tennis Open (3DS)
  • Heroes of Ruin (3DS)
  • Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise (Wii)

ONM Streetpass Meet

On Saturday at 13:30, two Official Nintendo Magazine bloggers, Colette and Marti are organising a Streetpass meet at the front of the Excel but the statue at the bottom of the stairs.  Turn up in Nintendo Cosplay and you might just find yourself in the next issue of ONM!

ShiftyLook

ShiftyLook, the webcomics and new media arm of NAMCO BANDAI are at MCM with a huge line up of events and offerings over the weekend.

To view a full lineup of what they’ve got on, visit their website.  But some highlights for me are the Bravoman signing, Marv Wolfman (the creator of Blade and Deathstroke, two of my favourite comic characters) announcing a new comic and signing and the ShiftyLook Chat Show Spectacular on Saturday night, for which tickets are available for this free event from their site or stand over the weekend.  A visit to them over the weekend is highly encouraged.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

On Saturday, there is a sneak peak at Nickelodeon’s new animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Early bird tickets can still be bought until 19:00 tonight (Thu 24 May 12) from the MCM Website and then at the event from tomorrow.

A first day preview and survivial guide will be online tomorrow night after the first day of MCM, so check back for that.

Are you planning on going to MCM?  Are you cosplaying?  What are you most looking forward too?
