New Super Smash Bros. Game to Feature New Characters and New Moves

Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai revealed this week that the new Smash Bros. game for the Wii U and 3DS will feature some new characters as well as giving the existing characters a new lease of life.

Sakurai revealed at this week’s CEDEC Computer Entertainment Developers Conference that the returning characters will have a new set of moves to get to grips with. Whether this means all characters will have their moves stripped and redone or not is unclear at this point; perhaps they plan to add moves to the characters’ current repertoires giving them a bigger selection of moves to choose from which would be very interesting.

It was previously stated that the size of the roster would not change so the news of new characters inevitably means some will have to leave. There’s been no news on who will stay and who will go yet but there are bound to be some disappointed gamers if characters are dropped…

What do you all think? Would you like to see characters in the new Super Smash Bros. have more moves to go at or do you think the current amount is just fine? Which characters would you like to see come and go? Let us know your thoughts!
