New Pokémon Dream Radar and Pokédex 3D Pro Trailers Shown Off at PAX

The Penny Arcade Expo was held over the weekend and Pokémon fans were treated to a couple of new English language trailers for the upcoming 3DS games Pokémon Dream Radar and Pokédex 3D Pro.

The Pokémon Dream Radar trailer shows off more augmented reality gameplay as you aim to snare Pokémon lurking around your environment. The trailer proclaims that some of the Pokémon you can catch may have hidden abilities, perhaps the Pokémon caught in Dream Radar will have differing abilities to the ones caught on Pokémon Black and White 2. Time will tell. As we already know the game allows you to capture the Therian Formes of the three legendary Pokémon: Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus and transfer them onto your copy of Pokémon Black and White 2. The game is set to be released alongside Pokemon Black and White 2 on 12th October.

Pokédex 3D Pro is a new app for the 3DS and is an upgrade of the original Pokedex 3D that came pre-installed with the portable beauty. The new trailer doesn’t show anything particularly new, it covers all the features such as the ability to interact with your critters using AR markers and the new challenge feature that puts your Pokémon knowledge  to the test. The trailer states that you can see and study more than 640 different Pokémon but it’s been previously stated that all Pokémon forms can be viewed resulting in a whopping 727 Pokémon! Pokédex 3D Pro is set to be released on 8th November.

What do you all think to these trailers? Are you looking forward to getting your big juicy Pokémon fix later this year?
