Ace Attorney 5 Will Feature Voice Acting
It’s been revealed that Ace Attorney 5, the upcoming 3DS iteration of the popular series, will controversially replace the universally loved retro sound effects with voice acting.
Capcom have decided to make this move for a couple of reasons, firstly to keep the game in line with the cut-scenes that will be found in the narrative and also because the move to the 3DS means new sound hardware and modifying the old sound effects would have been tricky to do. Because of this the developers came to the decision to use voice actors for the very first time in an Ace Attorney game.
What do you all think? Any objections?

It will be weird hearing Phoenix etc. speak in-game for the first time without yelling anything! I’m sure it’ll add to the immersion as well as the 3D models look in the trailer. Can’t wait!
