Newest Nintendo Direct Recap (25.10.12)

News coming out the most recent Nintendo Direct is for the fans of Nintendo’s Handheld, the 3DS. Paper Mario: Sticker Star will be more level based than the Paper Mario fan is used to but that’s a good thing. Also the more bosses you beat, the more power-ups or “sticker” pages you have at your disposal. Each sticker is single use so you need to hunt down as many as those stickers as you can. The more coins you get, the more stickers you can buy, typical Mario stuff. Looks like the Stars have been destroyed at the Sticker Fest and it’s up to Mario to save the day.

E-shop games that were shown off were Crashmo, the sequel to Pushmo, will be available on Nov. 22nd. Mutant Mudds has downloadable levels available on the e-shop to make a great game even better. The Virtual Console service hasn’t been forgotten. Warioland 2, Ninja Gaiden, and Zelda 2 are just a few of the old school favorites that will be available soon.

Animal Crossing will be available early next year. The game here in the states will be known as Animal Crossing: New Leaf.  New gameplay elements such as you taking the roll of the mayor of your town, right off the bat. You get to make the tough choices such as hours of operations for stores to where that giant statue of yourself should go. You still get to design your own clothes and accessories. The Animal Crossing series looks great on the 3DS and I can’t wait to design my town the way I want it and to tell Tom Nook that the store is closed on Sunday. That will teach him for making me run all those errands before.

Anyway, to watch the full Nintendo Direct Presentation from today, go to the Nintendo Direct web site. Enjoy and it looks like a great time to be a fan of Nintendo.
