Animal Crossing: New Leaf Achieves Near Perfection In Famitsu
Need any more convincing that Animal Crossing: New Leaf is going to be the best game in the entire whole world ever? (I’m really biased, ever so sorry). Then look no further than the almost perfect review it got in Famitsu.
New Leaf scored 39/40, comprised of scores of 10/10 and one 9/10 from one (probably particularly stingy) reviewer. Not too bad then, eh? Especially considering that only nineteen games have ever received a perfect score from the magazine. It looks like New Leaf is up there with classics such as Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, who have both also received scores of 39.
The Japanese release of the game is but a week away, however European gamers will still have to wait until the first quarter of 2013 to get their mitts on it. Worth the wait? I do believe so. But what about you? Has this excellent news heightened your excitement further or are you too busy seething with envy at the Japanese, who will be able to spend the Christmas period (AKA the best period to play Animal Crossing) playing this game?
