China To Receive Three Exclusive 3DS XL Console Designs In December
Nintendo are set to release three special 3DS XL units for the Chinese market this December via their local iQue branding.
There will be a Mario White, Mario Silver and Mario Red Gold, with the latter one being the most rare. There’s no price tag yet but we do know they’ll all come pre-installed with Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land! Those Chinese sure are lucky!
Because they’re being released in China this will of course mean they’ll be region locked and will only play Chinese games so if you were hoping to import one of them to play games on then I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
Nintendo certainly are releasing a lot of special editions for the 3DS XL recently. Japan has seen the Pikachu LL as well as the red-hot Charizard LL, not to mention the Animal Crossing, New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Monster Hunter 3 special edition consoles! Europe has been given the Pikachu XL but so far that’s the only bone we’ve had!
