Nintendo’s First Smartphone Game, Miitomo, Set To Release Next Year

Miitomo will be Nintendo’s first free-to-play title for its upcoming adventure into mobile gaming, as revealed by Nintendo’s president Tatsumi Kimishima during its latest investor strategy briefing. The app will release in March 2016.
Miitomo will feature the creation of Mii characters, something that’s been included with all Nintendo devices since the Wii. Your customised Mii can engage with Miis created by other players and can share personal information with them.
While details on how users will be able to play Miitomo, the app have a major focus on communication between players, similar to social network interactions.
Furthermore, the company – partnered with DeNA – plans to release more smartphone games by March 2017.
As mentioned above, Miitomo will be free to download but will include in-app purchases in the form of character add-ons. Thoughts?
