Bayonetta Set To Bewitch Her Foes In Super Smash Bros. Next Year
During tonight’s Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Direct presentation, Masahiro Sakurai announced that the Umbra Witch Bayonetta will be the last character to join the Super Smash Bros. roster for Wii U and 3DS.
She will have two costume options: a short-haired version of Bayonetta, and a long-haired version as well as a “Jeanne” color variation. Depending on what costume you choose, she’ll either have the Love is Blue or Scarborough Fair gun set equipped.
The tempestuous witch will equip her guns to shoot down her opponents, and her Wicked Weave attack can cause some further damage. Bayonetta’s final smash will be Infernal Climax, where she’ll need to fill her Climax Gauge to unleash Gomorrah upon opponents.
An exclusive Umbra Clock Tower stage will be released alongside the character from the first Bayonetta game.
Sakurai revealed that Bayonetta was the number one choice in the Fighter Ballot in Europe, in the top five in North America and the overall number one character of choice world-wide.
Bayonetta will also have her own amiibo released in the near future.
