Pokemon Go Plus Launching 16th September

The wait for the Pokemon GO Plus is almost over, as it will be launching on 16th September! Previously slated for release in July, it was delayed due to Android compatibility issues which are now thankfully fixed. The Pokemon GO Plus is an add-on peripheral for the mobile app Pokemon GO, and offers helpful features for those not wanting to have their phones out at all times. It notifies players of nearby Pokestops and Pokemon in the area. When a Pokemon is nearby, the light will flash green, and players can simply press the button to throw a Pokeball, which saves the frustration of missing a Pokemon with a bad throw. The light will flash blue near a Pokestop, and items can be collected with a button press.
For the time being, Pokemon GO Plus is only available for preorder on the Nintendo UK Store, but may be available through other retailers later. It will cost £34.99.
