Obsidian Entertainment Speaks Up About the Nintendo Switch Version of The Outer Worlds, With a New YouTube Video!

Not Nintendo Switch footage.

Obsidian Entertainment have been making the big news with their new title: The Outer Worlds, a spiritual successor of Fallout 4.
The game tries to combine everything that was good in Fallout since chapter 3 and ties it all together with brand new ideas and more than one world to explore, in a lush environment and beautiful graphics.

Recently Obsidian announced the game will also land on Switch following the other consoles release and posted a YouTube video discussing their excitement about the Switch version.
The video showcases footage that clearly states “not gameplay footage”, while other parts of the video remove this statement. Is this to assume being actual Nintendo Switch gameplay?
In my opinion it is not. The graphical fidelity throughout the whole video seems the same, I personally believe this to be gameplay taken from the PC or PS4/Xbone versions.
But this is exciting nonetheless! It’s nice to see developers being so enthusiastic about Nintendo Switch, a console that keeps surprising with competent ports of games designed to run on much more powerful systems. A console that thrives as it should be, crowning Nintendo as the longest surviving Company since the 80s.

What do you think about the new video Obsidian posted? Please take a look if you haven’t had a chance to watch it already.
