FIA European Truck Racing Championship is Out this Week, Check out Trailers, Gameplay and Info

If you want something a little bit different from a racing game then FIA European Truck Racing Championship will be one you want to keep a close eye on.

Okay there aren’t screen for Switch at the moment but it’ll look similar just with a lower graphical fidelity.

Hurtle hulking huge 5 tonne trucks around the official tracks of the ETRC (FIA European Truck Racing Championship) and some extra world famous tracks such as Laguna Seca and Fuji Speedway. Just imagine overtaking a truck into the corkscrew at Laguna, it’ll be madness.

There’s going to be 45 official trucks in the game.

You’ll have never played a racing game like it where brake cooling is one of the main mechanics. Check out some gameplay, launch trailer (from other consoles but like the other Bigben games Isle of Man TT and the upcoming WRC 8 the game will be the same just with a lower graphical fidelity, who cares about that when you have huge trucks?). In FIA European Truck Racing Championship, the simulation pushes the limits of what’s possible, and everything has been designed to guarantee players all the thrills of racing in these spectacular races. With dynamic weather, different physics and inertia for each vehicle, and manual management of brakes and water cooling, everything has been included to ensure players experience the ultimate challenge.

Truck Racing Championship Main characteristics:
– 45 race trucks from top manufacturers, including Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, Western Star and many others.
– 7 faithfully recreated circuits of the ETRC, as well as 6 iconic circuits such as Laguna Seca, the COTA and Fuji Speedway.
– 20 official teams and championship drivers are included in the game.
– 5 single-player and 5 multiplayer modes including local split-screen.

The biggest, most imposing racing series in the world, the FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) is a truly unique motor sport spectacle and the pinnacle of global truck racing with the most professional teams and drivers competing in a pan-European series.
Even some of its events celebrated their 30th anniversary or more, the recognition as an official FIA championship and current format and has been in operation since 2006. The FIA ETRC’s first ever promoter, ETRA Promotion GmbH, has been mandated since 2016.
Several well-known manufacturers are represented in the FIA ETRC, namely IVECO, Mercedes-Benz.
